Tecnigold takes part in the Premiere 2026 Competition of Oroarezzo with a necklace from the GEMINA line, a creation born from the dialogue between goldsmith craftsmanship, contemporary sensitivity and research into the language of the chain.
The historic Oroarezzo competition, dedicated to the finest Italian goldsmith manufacturing, has chosen the concept “The Invisible Weight of Sweetness” for its 2026 edition: an invitation to interpret jewellery through three key words, sweetness, wearability and lightness.
The theme does not speak only of physical lightness, but of the relationship between jewel and body. A light jewel does not impose itself, does not interrupt the gesture, does not add weight: it accompanies the wearer and becomes an intimate, natural, almost silent presence.
This vision is reflected in the GEMINA line, and in particular in the creative language of Emotion Layering, developed around the concept of emotional stratification. Layering is not understood as a simple decorative accumulation, but as an overlap of presences, memories and sensations. Emotions that settle, remain and intertwine, without losing their lightness.
The chain is at the centre of this story. It is not only a structure, nor a simple decorative element. It is sequence, rhythm, continuity. The nominated necklace is composed of multiple strands, with chains of different lengths, enriched by pendants and stones that fall naturally across the body. The stratification recalls the accumulation of emotions: present, overlapping, sometimes intense, yet capable of becoming light over time. The jewel translates this intensity into balance and reveals itself as a gentle, almost imperceptible presence.
The construction combines chains, investment cast elements, diamond cut plate and high polish surfaces in 18kt gold.
